COVID-19 Update from Dunlap Vision

Dated: Monday, March 23, 2020

Dear Patients and Parents,

At Dunlap Vision the health and safety of you and our team, is top priority. In response to recent statewide developments concerning the COVID-19 virus pandemic, our office will now be closed to non-essential or routine services until Wednesday, April 8th.

If you have a routine exam scheduled in that time frame, please consider it canceled. Our staff will be contacting you in the days leading up to your appointment to reschedule.

We will continue to provide medical care to patients requiring more urgent attention. Those conditions would include, but not be limited to, red eyes, foreign bodies, symptoms of new flashes and/or floaters, or anyone in post-op care. Given the continuously evolving nature of this situation, our schedule and hours of availability will be subject to change. We will keep you updated via email, our website, and on social media.

In the meantime, the best way to reach us is by phone at 815.932.1116. One of our team members will be available to answer questions and manage concerns. Frame adjustments and repairs of broken glasses will not be available during our office closure. If you’re unsure how to manage any situation or problem, please call so that we can help troubleshoot the issue. Curbside delivery of glasses or contact lenses may be arranged by calling the office.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience this will cause you and your family. We truly appreciate your understanding and patience. We wish you and your family the best of health and safety.

Thank you,

Dr. Brent Dunlap, Dr. Lisa Jeziorny, Dr. Tayler Peachey and the entire Dunlap Vision Team
